Over the course of 26 years, the Amaro Restaurant has embellished its arches, corridors and courtyard and filled them with history, art and gastronomy, which has transformed it into a unique place and most emblematic of our ambiance. Amaro occupies a sixteenth century mansion, where the great historian and poet Andrés Quintana Roo was born.
The most outstanding achievement is that, over this time, Amaro has conquered many with its innumerable dishes, ranging from vegetarian offerings to international dishes that include salads, cuts of beef, pastas, seafood and a wide variety of exclusive wines. It is also worth mentioning their delicious pizzas topped with a perfect combination of avocado dip, cheeses and “arrachera”. Our pizzas are made only with whole wheat flour that, when baked, reach a crispy crust.
During the day, Amaro offers the tropical ambiance characteristic of the peninsula under the shadow and the freshness of a great tree covered in orchids. At dusk, its atmosphere is transformed to a more romantic one, with the dim light of candles and the seductive sounds of of the bohemian music of the Trova, the better to enjoy your visit to our city, whether as a couple, family or with friends. When you visit, let yourself be enthralled by our flavors, aromas and colors. Amaro is, without doubt, one of the magical places that this beautiful city offers, and a favored gathering point for young people, artists, politicians and businessmen.Located on Calle 59, between 60 and 62.
