Traditional dishes to celebrate Mexican independence
In this issue we present you some traditional dishes to celebrate the Mexican independence. Some of the most popular is the pozole, which you can find in the Restaurant Amaro on September. More traditional dishes for this celebration are: chile en nogada, mole poblano, tamales and sopes.
Tortilla filled with chicken, turkey, or beef, bathed in hot sauce; you can add cheese, onion, lettuce, cream and cheese.
CHILE EN NOGADA
Poblano chile stuffed with meat, dipped in cream. It has the colors of Mexico's flag.
Traditional Mexican soup. It can be white, red and green pozole.
Chicken dipped in sauce made of chilies, seeds, herbs and spices.
Fried corn tortilla with different fillings, such as pork, beef, cheese and vegetables.
