The Puuc Hotel, pronounced "Pooh-k", was inaugurated more than eight years ago in the heart of the Puuc Route. In this brief time it has become the ideal place for those who want to relax or learn about Maya culture in an up close way.
Due to its location, in the city of Oxkutzcab, visitors can access the nearby beautiful convents and impressive archaeological sites of Yucatán State such as: Uxmal, Kabáh, Sayil, Xlapac and Labná, among others, which are considered World Heritage Sites. The Caves of Loltún, one of the 20 natural wonders of Mexico, are also nearby.
The setting is a fusion of Maya and Colonial history, and this allows guests to enjoy Yucatán?s most original offerings, such as the famous regional huipil dress worn by the Maya; admire thatch-roofed homes; and delight in the area?s abundant flora and fauna, all while enjoying the comfort of all the modern conveniences.
In general, the hotel has 32 rooms with air conditioning, cable television, wireless Internet, a three-level swimming pool, a recreation room, and full restaurant services.
